Welcome to HumanMeter. By downloading, installing, or using the HumanMeter application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
1. Description of Service
HumanMeter is a mobile application that analyzes video content from social media platforms to detect potential AI-generated or manipulated content. The App provides probability scores and analysis to help users assess video authenticity.
Important Disclaimer: HumanMeter's AI detection is probabilistic, not definitive. Results should be used as one factor in your assessment, not as absolute proof of authenticity or manipulation.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use HumanMeter only for lawful purposes. You may NOT:
- Use the App to harass, defame, or harm others
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
- Use automated systems to abuse the service
- Resell or redistribute analysis results commercially
- Use the App to violate others' privacy or intellectual property rights
3. Credits and Purchases
Credit System
- Scanning videos requires credits
- New users receive complimentary credits
- Additional credits can be purchased through in-app purchases
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts/devices
In-App Purchases
- All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
- Prices are displayed in your local currency
- Purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by law
- For refunds, contact Apple Support
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date
- Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
4. Intellectual Property
The HumanMeter App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
5. User Content
When you submit video URLs for analysis:
- You represent that you have the right to analyze the content
- We do not claim ownership of the videos you scan
- We do not store video content beyond the analysis session
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
- 100% accuracy of AI detection results
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- That the App will meet your specific requirements
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from your reliance on scan results
- Actions taken based on HumanMeter analysis
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HumanMeter and its creators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate your access for Terms violations
- Modify or discontinue the App at any time
- Refuse service to anyone for any reason
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your State].
